a line in the sand
That's what I'm doing with this small post, drawing a line in the sand. The sand being this site. As far as my life goes, though, that line was drawn last year on October 20th. Who I was before then was one person, after then someone very different (in very good ways, I assure you).
The last time I wrote and published online was the post below this one,
dated October 13, 2024. The last journal entry I wrote in Day One was
the morning of October 20, 2024. And then I became quiet within my mind,
focused. Without hesitation I removed absolutely everything from my life
that was a distraction from what I needed to focus on.
Vincent sent me an earlier this year, checking in. I didn't reply and now I can't find his email. So I'll try to dig up an email address for him and get in-touch. Vincent, if you read this, your email meant a lot to me...I just didn't know what to say at the time...
...then I started to receive emails about my cwa.omg.lol domain name coming up for renewal. I ignored them but then acted with two days remaining.
...ahhh...the small fun internet. I haven't missed writing, but am feeling that feeling bubble up where I have things to say...
...and then Greg from Poland sent me an email, he found my website via the Internet Phone Book. Didn't know I was in there, so he sent me a picture.

I honestly forgot about this website. Forgot about Coffee with
Aaron.Ā
Vincent, thank you for emailing; Adam at Neatnik/omg.lol, thank you for the domain renewal reminders; Greg, thank you for emailing, for asking š
Grinding some fresh coffee beans. I still do prefer French press and still do make my coffee using that very simple method each and every morning.Ā
And so, here's that line. So much to share, and I think I'm at the point where I can begin to put words to things.
As always, thank you for reading.Ā
